If you are challenged by an empty wall, maps can often make a graphic statement, usually for little cost. Whether it’s a vintage print of where you live or a wall-size illustration of the world, a map can bring an unexpected punch to a room and at the same time make it more personal.

My map came from the Etsy shop, Ancient Shades. They have reproductions of old maps from all over the world. Every map in the shop has been restored and enhanced . They are not selling only prints of scanned maps, I hundreds of hours have been invested removing stains, folding signs, scratches; also some of the maps needed reconstruction of small missing areas. {click to continue}
